A Different Perspective Z
This series of monoprints are 6-layers, created with ecofriendly, oil based Cranfield Caligo Inks. This image is A Different Perspective of my beloved Stillhouse Falls and the surrounding woods. I really wrestled with trying to capture the original viewpoint and coloring of my Stillhouse Falls painting in monoprint form, and it finally came to me, after many unsuccessful attempts, that I needed a different perspective! What an ongoing life metaphor.
My monoprints are one-of-a-kind originals which are created using ink, by both additive and subtractive processes. The image made onto the printmaking plate is then pressed, transferring the image onto paper. The final artwork is built by layering multiple images, one on top of another. These handmade prints are made with Cranfield oil based, eco-friendly inks and high-quality printmaking paper.
All in this series sold with a mat included and will fit in an 11 X 14 frame.
